PT candidate for re-election, Dilma Rousseff, begins tomorrow (8) a tour of at least four capitals in the Northeast in the campaign for the second round of elections.

Dilma received almost 60% of the votes in the Northeast region in the first round, winning in all states except Pernambuco, where she came in behind the PSB candidate, Marina Silva. This state is the political birthplace of former governor Eduardo Campos, who died in a plane crash in August during the presidential campaign.

The PT candidate begins her trip in João Pessoa, where she will meet tomorrow (8) evening, in a political event, with mayors and political leaders from Paraíba. On Thursday (9), Dilma has an agenda in Salvador, where she will also meet with mayors, political leaders and supporters of her campaign, among them, the current governor, Jaques Wagner, and the governor-elect, Rui Costa, both from the PT. After the meeting, the candidate will participate in a walk that will end at the Church of Our Lord of Bonfim, a traditional tourist spot in the capital of Bahia.

From Salvador, Dilma will travel to Aracaju, where she will participate in a political event with supporters. From the capital of Sergipe, Dilma will go to Maceió for meetings with leaders and mayors who support her re-election.

In addition to the Northeast, Dilma's travel agenda in the first week of the second round campaign also includes trips to Belo Horizonte on Friday (10), and to Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina on Saturday (11).

Next, Dilma's campaign will focus its efforts on São Paulo, the country's largest electoral college, where the candidate seeking re-election was defeated by PSDB candidate Aécio Neves in the first round by a difference of more than 4 million votes.
