CNT/MDA: Positive evaluation of Dilma's government is 10,8%

SAO PAULO (Reuters) - President Dilma Rousseff's approval rating fell to 10,8 percent, according to a CNT/MDA poll released on Monday, amid protests against the government and difficulties faced by the Executive branch in the National Congress.

According to a survey by the MDA institute, commissioned by the National Confederation of Transport (CNT), the percentage of those who have a negative assessment of the government is 64,8 percent. In the previous survey, released at the end of September, 41 percent considered the government excellent or good and 23,5 percent rated it as bad or terrible.

According to the survey, 23,6 percent consider the government to be doing an average job, compared to 35 percent in the previous survey.

The poll also indicated that only 18,9 percent approve of Dilma's personal performance, compared to 55,6 percent in the previous survey, while 77,7 percent disapprove, compared to 40,1 percent in September.

For the survey, 2.002 people were interviewed between March 16 and 19. The margin of error is 2,2 percentage points.
