“I don’t think Bolsonaro frankly said anything more to Moro than is reasonable for a president to say, ‘Look, I’m bothered, this guy from the Federal Police isn’t examining this, isn’t examining that.’ In my opinion, that speaks against Moro, because for someone to be a minister to a president of the Republic and to snoop into conversations the president had with him in a relationship of trust is not a demonstration of character,” Ciro defended to My News.
He adds: "[Moro] said that there are higher loyalties, and who judges those loyalties? This is old, this is functional. Any country in the world that values decency, ethics... look, the things I know about Lula in confidence will die with me."
Ciro's speech was viewed favorably by Bolsonaro's supporters. On his social media, Congressman Carlos Jordy (PSL-RJ) shared a segment of Ciro's interview. "Enemies have more honor than traitors," he says.
