Cid threatens to take legal action against anyone who questions Ivete.
The Public Prosecutor's Office is requesting the return of R$ 650 paid for the singer's performance at a hospital inauguration. This Wednesday morning, the governor of Ceará, Cid Gomes, said he "deeply regretted" the stance taken by Oscar Costa Filho and the state's Attorney General of Accounts, Gleydson Alexandre.
247 - The governor of Ceará, Cid Gomes (PSB), is threatening to file a complaint with the National Council of the Public Prosecutor's Office (CNMP) against the state's federal prosecutor, Oscar Costa Filho. Costa Filho filed a lawsuit in Federal Court that compels the governor to deposit the R$ 650 paid for singer Ivete Sangalo's performance at the inauguration party of a hospital in Sobral into the State Health Fund.
The request made by the prosecutor was rejected in the first instance. The judge of the 8th Federal Court in Ceará understood that the trial of the action is not within the jurisdiction of the Federal Court, as it does not involve resources from the Union, but, this Tuesday the 5th, the Public Prosecutor's Office appealed the decision. During an event this Wednesday morning in Fortaleza, Cid said that he "deeply regretted" the stance of Oscar Costa Filho and the Attorney General of Accounts of the State, Gleydson Alexandre.
