247 - The Brazilian Supreme Court (STF) announced on Monday, May 18th, that Justice Celso de Mello will decide on the confidentiality of the recording of the April 22nd ministerial meeting by the end of this week. The video would prove Jair Bolsonaro's interference in the Federal Police, according to former minister Sergio Moro.

"Minister Celso de Mello received this afternoon, from the Federal Police team, coordinated by Dr. Christiane Correa Machado, the external hard drive containing the recording of the ministerial meeting of April 22, 2020. Minister Celso de Mello should start watching the video from 18 pm this Monday (18), and will decide on the lifting of secrecy - partial or total - by the end of this week", informed the STF.

The Supreme Federal Court (STF) also released Celso de Mello's statement:

"I received the Federal Police team, headed by Dr. Christiane Correa Machado, in my office today, who updated me on the progress of the criminal investigations and gave me a pen drive containing video and audio of the ministerial meeting of April 22, 2020. After this meeting, I have now begun watching the video and should release my decision by this coming Friday, May 22, perhaps sooner!"
