247 – Accused of lying by Governor Marconi Perillo, journalist Luís Carlos Bordoni gave new details about the negotiations that resulted in him being paid R$ 90 by a shell company belonging to Carlinhos Cachoeira for services rendered in Perillo's 2010 election campaign. According to Bordoni, the agreement was made directly with the then-candidate for governor. The new accusation against Perillo was made in an interview with TV Anhanguera and is likely to be featured on Globo's Jornal Nacional tonight.

Below is a news article from the Diário de Goiás website regarding the complaint:

Diário de Goiás _ALTAIR TAVARES - In an interview with TV Anhanguera, broadcast on today's Bom dia Goiás, journalist Luís Carlos Bordoni disputed the version presented by Governor Marconi Perillo's press office regarding the payment of a debt for services rendered during the 2010 election campaign.

Over the phone, Bordoni detailed the negotiation, which, according to him, was conducted directly with the then-gubernatorial candidate, Marconi Perillo:

"For the last campaign, I dealt directly with him at his political office on Ricardo Paranhos Avenue. He called me into a private room and we finalized the details. I had asked for R$ 200. He asked for a reduction to R$ 120, plus a bonus of R$ 50 in case of victory."

It was Mr. Lúcio who asked for the account number, which is why I'm requesting the lifting of telephone secrecy to show the calls he made asking for the account. I even remember one of them when he said: "Look, that money from the media is leaving here, okay? I'm not afraid of a confrontation with anyone! I even insist on it. I didn't break anything. He did! He called me a liar, he called me irresponsible. During all the campaigns I did, asking for votes for him, was I also irresponsible, was I a liar?"

I have nothing to do with this story about the origin of the money. I received payment for work done. And it wasn't the alleged R$33. The R$33 is from the invoice for one installment. Only one installment. And the rest? How do they then explain the other two deposits made into my daughter's account: one by Pantoja and the other by a private individual?"

Bordoni's questions regarding the other deposits remain unanswered.

In an interview with TV Anhanguera, Governor Marconi Perillo announced that he intends to take legal action against journalist Luís Carlos Bordoni.

Journalist Luís Carlos Bordoni, who worked on Marconi Perillo's campaign in 2010, stated that he wants to testify before the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI), according to the newspaper O Estado de São Paulo.

On Friday, Perillo's press office released a statement saying that the journalist is a liar and irresponsible, and that Luís Carlos Bordoni received R$ 33, leaving no outstanding debt. The statement asserted that Lúcio Fiúza did not participate in the hiring or payment of any funds during the 2010 campaign and concluded by saying that the governor will take legal action against Bordoni this Monday.

This Sunday, the State Government released a new statement, broadcast by TV Anhanguera. Marconi Perillo's press office says that the governor never discussed any payments with any service provider during the campaign.
