247 - Brazilian presidential pre-candidate Jair Bolsonaro (PSL) is considering inviting retired General Augusto Heleno (PRP) to be his running mate, should the PR party not release Senator Magno Malta to complete the ticket. The military officer, the first commander of UN troops in Haiti, has announced on several occasions that he supports Bolsonaro. Bolsonaro also served as Heleno's cadet in the Brazilian Army.

According to the Estadão newspaper column, Bolsonaro expects a decision regarding Magno Malta by July 15th, which will largely depend on a decision by the president of the PR party, Valdemar Costa Neto, to leave the bloc formed by DEM-PP-PRB-SD to support his candidacy.
