With nine senators, it is the fourth largest bloc in the House, behind PL, PSD, and União Brasil. The election is scheduled for February 1st.
247 - The PT caucus in the Senate announced, this Thursday (26), its support for reelection of Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG) in the presidency of the House, informs The Antagonist.
Pacheco is competing for the presidency of the Senate against Bolsonaro supporters Rogério Marinho (PL-RN) and Eduardo Girão (Podemos-CE).
With the support of the PT (Workers' Party), the current president of the House will have the votes of the nine senators who will represent the party's caucus in the 2023-2026 legislature. This is the fourth largest caucus in the Senate, behind PL, PSD, and União Brasil.
The election is scheduled for February 1, 2023.
