Aécio: "PSDB is the party that has the conditions to mount a clear opposition"

247 - Senator Aécio Neves stated on Monday night (28) that he has no doubt that it is his party, the PSDB, “that is able to structurally present a clear opposition proposal, with solid bases in the country, with an absolutely clear discourse”. “I have to believe in that,” he stressed.
When questioned about the ticket formed between Governor Eduardo Campos and former Senator Marina Silva (both from the PSB party), the PSDB candidate highlighted as a positive point the fact that they are in opposition to the government of President Dilma Rousseff (PT), but said he does not see them as a threat to his project. "I'm not surprised by absolutely anything," said Aécio, when also questioned about the rapprochement between Campos and Congressman Roberto Freire, president of the PPS party.
Aécio said that the PSDB continues to talk with the PPS, but that it will respect whatever position the party takes. "What is certain is that they will be in the opposition camp." The senator stated that he intends to present an "agenda for the future" of Brazil in December. According to him, the proposal would be an outline of a PSDB government program, to be discussed in the first half of 2014, before the election campaign.
