247 - Petrobras announced that it will reduce the price of aviation kerosene (QAV) by 0,5% starting February 1st. The decrease represents a reduction of R$ 0,02 per liter compared to the price in January, according to a company statement.

With the new adjustment, the accumulated reduction in the price of aviation kerosene (QAV) in 2026 reaches 9,9%, which is equivalent to a decrease of R$ 0,36 per liter compared to the value recorded in December 2025.

The state-owned company also highlighted that, in the medium term, the drop is more significant. Since December 2022, the prices of aviation kerosene sold by Petrobras have been reduced by 35,5%, which corresponds to R$ 1,81 per liter. When considering the accumulated inflation during the period, the real reduction reaches 43,6%.

In the statement, the company detailed how aviation fuel is marketed. "Petrobras markets jet fuel produced in its refineries or imported only to distributors, who in turn transport and market the products to air transport companies and other end consumers at airports, or to resellers," the state-owned company informed.

According to Petrobras, the final price paid by airlines is influenced by factors other than the price charged by the company, such as transportation costs, distributor margins, and taxes levied throughout the supply chain.
