TrueNoord's global expansion
Based in Amsterdam, the company is backed by investors such as Patria, BlackRock, and Freshstream. Until now, its portfolio consisted mainly of turboprops and regional jets from manufacturers such as ATR, MHIRJ, De Havilland, Airbus (A220), and Embraer itself. The lessor's business strategy prioritizes a diversified, flexible, and liquid fleet, adapted to the needs of airlines operating aircraft with between 50 and 150 seats.

Arjan Meijer, president of Embraer Commercial Aviation, highlighted that the deal reinforces the credibility of the E2 family and the pursuit of sustainable aircraft. “The agreement demonstrates strong confidence in the E2 family and highlights the growing demand for smaller, sustainable narrowbodies. The E195-E2 offers exceptional performance and efficiency — it is the perfect choice for lessors and operators preparing their fleets for the future,” he stated.
The contract also expands Embraer's participation in the competitive leasing market, at a time when manufacturers are vying for space amid increasing demand for more efficient and flexible aircraft.
