Ukraine's stance in the negotiations will be uncompromising regarding territorial concessions, stated the Foreign Minister of the Eastern European country, Dmitry Kuleba, this Sunday, the 27th.
“There is nothing wrong with the negotiations themselves, and if the outcome of these negotiations is peace and an end to the war, that should be welcomed. But I want to make it very clear: we will not surrender, we will not capitulate, we will not give up a single inch of our territory,” Kuleba said during a press conference in Kyiv, according to the website. Kuleba also said that Ukraine agreed to send a delegation to the border "to hear what Russia has to say" and to express Ukraine's views on "this war and Russia's actions."
According to a statement from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, an agreement was reached for the delegations to meet "without preconditions" on the border between Ukraine and Belarus, near the Pripvat River.
According to the Ukrainian government, the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, "assumed responsibility for ensuring that all aircraft, helicopters, and missiles that are in Belarusian territory will remain on the ground during the Ukrainian delegation's trip, meeting, and return."
