Xi Jinping congratulates Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez on his re-election in Cuba.

The Chinese side attaches great importance to bilateral ties and hopes to maintain close communication with Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.

China Radio International The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Chinese President, Xi Jinping, sent a congratulatory message this Thursday (20) to the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Cuban President, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, on his re-election as President of the country. 

The Chinese leader pointed out that the China-Cuba relationship is currently operating at a high level and is constantly registering new advances. Last November, the Cuban president made a successful state visit to China. The two sides reached important agreements to continuously deepen friendly relations in the new era. 

The Chinese side attaches great importance to bilateral ties and hopes to maintain close communication with Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, seeking to strengthen the political orientation in relations between the two parties and countries, in order to build, hand in hand, a community of shared future between China and Cuba.
