Xi Jinping sends condolences to Angola following deaths caused by heavy rains.

On behalf of the Chinese government and people, President Xi Jinping expressed his sorrow for the fatalities and offered his sincere condolences to the families.

China Radio International Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a message of condolence on Thursday (27) to Angolan President João Lourenço for the lives lost in the heavy rains that hit the African country. 

During the rally, Xi Jinping said he was surprised to learn of the heavy rainfall recorded in many regions of the country, including the capital Luanda, causing a large number of deaths and injuries, as well as material damage. 

On behalf of the Chinese government and people, the president expressed his sorrow for the fatalities and extended sincere solidarity to the families, the injured, and the inhabitants of the affected areas. The Chinese leader believes that Angola will certainly overcome the difficulties and rebuild its homes.
