Xi Jinping, also president of the country and of the Central Military Commission, emphasized, in a speech on Monday (9), that, from a prominent position regarding the long-term governance of the party, the long-term stability of the country and the happiness and well-being of the people, it is necessary to take the comprehensive and rigorous administration of the CCP as a long-term strategy and a permanent theme of representation.
The Chinese leader pointed out that it is necessary to ensure the implementation of the guiding principles defined at the 20th National Congress of the CPC, held in October 2022, with strong political oversight. This oversight, he stated, is an effective measure that compels all members to adhere to the centralized and unified leadership of the party's Central Committee.
Xi Jinping also stressed that the situation regarding the fight against corruption remains serious and complicated. Corruption, in which political and economic issues are intertwined, must be tackled with determination, the Chinese leader emphasized.
