Russian Deputy Minister says US must be prepared to make compromises in Geneva negotiations.
Discussions will begin this Monday.
247 - Russian-American negotiations on the security guarantees demanded by Moscow from Washington and NATO countries begin this Monday (10), in Geneva.
Moscow's position in these negotiations regarding the demand for guarantees is inflexible, and the United States needs to be prepared to make compromises, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov, according to TASS.
"The United States needs to be prepared to make compromises. Russia came here with a clear position, which contains a number of aspects that, in my view, are easy to understand and are formulated so clearly, especially at the highest level, that it is impossible for us to deviate from our approaches," he emphasized.
