Venezuela regrets that generals from Brazil and Colombia are working for the United States.

"When you see this scene, your blood boils, the blood that runs through the open veins of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean. I don't even want to imagine the indignation that the peoples and military of Colombia and Brazil will feel. Independence or nothing!", wrote Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza.

Arreaza says threats confirm US involvement in the coup.

Sputnik - Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza lamented on Friday (17) that the US government uses generals from Colombia and Brazil as its employees, after the broadcast of a video in which the military appear firmly before President Donald Trump (learn more here).

"When you see this scene, your blood boils, the blood that runs through the open veins of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean. I don't even want to imagine the outrage that the peoples and military of Colombia and Brazil will feel. Independence or nothing!", the chancellor wrote on his Twitter account.

The video shows the head of the Southern Command, American Craig Faller, introducing Trump to the Colombian and Brazilian Armed Forces during a meeting on July 10 of this year.

Faller pointed out that Colombian President Iván Duque and Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro sent their best military personnel, who are paid "fully" by their governments, but are working for the United States.

In March, Venezuela rejected the "military agenda" of the US, Brazil, and Colombia against the Nicolás Maduro government, following a cooperation agreement reached by the Bolsonaro government with the US Southern Command.

In late January, Colombia and the U.S. conducted joint military exercises.
