Three weeks after the failed terrorist incursion aimed at carrying out assassinations and a coup in Venezuela, the South American country continues to resist the barrage of aggression promoted by the United States.
247 - In yet another episode of Washington's hostile rhetoric against the Nicolás Maduro government, US President Donald Trump once again attacked the South American country, stating that "we have surrounded them to a degree that nobody knows."
These statements contrast with the White House's proclaimed distancing from the failed Operation Gideon, in which more than 60 mercenaries and collaborators were detained, whose main objective was the assassination of Maduro and other leaders of the Bolivarian Executive.
Trump's threatening speech about encircling Venezuela occurred in a geopolitical scenario marked by the imminent arrival in the South American country of five Iranian gasoline ships, which would alleviate the fuel crisis generated, in large part, by coercive measures implemented by the United States.
