The Turkish Interior Ministry reported that the army had arrested 754 military personnel involved in the failed coup attempt in the country, including 5 generals and 29 colonels.
Furthermore, according to local sources, the death toll has risen to 90 people, and approximately 1.100 people were injured.
According to the National Intelligence Organization, the attempted coup in Türkiye was carried out by the Air Force command and the military police.
The coup was led by Colonel Muharrem Kose, a Turkish officer removed from his post in May 2016 due to his connection with the opposition cleric Fethulalh Gulen.
During the night, those involved in the coup attacked a series of facilities in Ankara, including the General Staff building, police headquarters, the Ministry of the Interior, and the parliament. The parliament also suffered airstrikes, leaving an unknown number of injured.

After several hours since the start of the attempted coup, Turkey's National Intelligence Organization reported that the situation in the country had "returned to normal."
