Information regarding the lifting of restrictive measures against Russia was also confirmed by Susan Glasser, a contributor to the US edition of Politico. "Several sources report that, according to the decree, the sanctions will be lifted unilaterally," she wrote.
Relations between Russia and Western countries have been deteriorating since 2014 due to the situation in Ukraine.
