Trump slams Obama administration and says he wants a "strong Israel"

US President-elect Donald Trump criticized the Obama administration for its stance on Israel; "We cannot continue to let Israel be treated with such utter contempt and disrespect. They used to be great friends of the USA, but…," Trump wrote on Twitter; "Not anymore. The beginning of the end was the horrible Iran deal, and now this (UN)! Stay strong, Israel, January 20th is coming fast," added the Republican Trump, referring to the day he assumes the Presidency in place of Democrat Barack Obama.

Reuters - US President-elect Donald Trump criticized the Obama administration on Wednesday for its stance on Israel, shortly before US Secretary of State John Kerry was scheduled to give a speech on international opposition to Israeli settlement construction.

"We cannot continue to let Israel be treated with such utter contempt and disrespect. They used to be great friends of the U.S., but...", Trump wrote on his Twitter account.

"No more. The beginning of the end was the horrible deal with Iran, and now this (UN)! Stay strong, Israel, January 20th is coming soon," added Republican Trump, referring to the day he assumes the Presidency in place of Democrat Barack Obama.
