247 - The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin for alleged war crimes in Ukraine.

The court based in The Hague, Netherlands, said in a statement on Friday (17) that Putin "is allegedly responsible for the war crime of illegally deporting the population (children) and illegally transferring the population (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation."

The Russia sustains that the accusations about the forced transfer of children are completely unfounded, alleging that they were forced to flee Ukraine because of the brutalities committed by Kiev, especially in Donbas.
