247 - Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira highlighted that there is "virtual unanimity" among G20 members on the need to implement the Two-State Solution to resolve the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
"Furthermore, there was virtual unanimity in support for the two-state solution as the only possible solution to the conflict between Israel and Palestine," the foreign minister told the press after the meeting. G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting, in Rio de Janeiro, this Thursday (22).
Vieira also stated on Thursday that there were several requests at the G20 foreign ministers' meeting for a cessation of hostilities in Gaza and the opening of access for humanitarian aid.
