After two New York event venues – the National Museum of Natural History in Central Park and Cipriani Hall on Wall Street – refused to host a tribute to President Jair Bolsonaro, the Brazil-United States Chamber of Commerce, responsible for the Person of the Year award, found a new location on Tuesday: the Marriott Hotel in Downtown Manhattan.
The event, scheduled for May 14th, was initially planned for the National Museum, but the event was postponed after pressure from the environmental community and the city's mayor, Bill de Blasio.
