247, with information from the BBC – Russian forces launched an attack on a military installation in the Lviv region of western Ukraine this morning, killing at least nine people.
Local authorities said missiles struck the International Peacekeeping and Security Center in the city of Yavoriv, about 10 km from the Polish border and 60 km from the city center of Lviv.
The base covers an area of approximately 390 square kilometers (151 square miles) and can accommodate up to 1.790 people, although it is unknown how many people were on site at the time.
