Russia opens helicopter training center in Venezuela.

"A modern helicopter training center was built under contract between Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec State Corporation) and the Venezuelan publicly traded military industry company (CAVIM)," they said.
A team of Venezuelan specialists was trained in Russia according to the operating rules of Russian simulators (on mobile and stationary terrain).
According to the statement, the capabilities of this center allow Venezuelan pilots to undergo comprehensive training in flying Mi-17V-5, Mi-35M, and Mi-26T helicopters in near-realistic conditions.
Rosoboronexport reiterated that Russia remains committed to expanding defense industry cooperation with Venezuela, paying particular attention to the training of specialists as well as the timely maintenance of supplied equipment.
Russian arms deliveries "provided Venezuela with a solid potential that guarantees the country's security and defense capabilities," Rosoboronexport highlighted.
