A report from the UN Atomic Energy Agency states that the situation in Zaporijia is "unsustainable."

IAEA document calls for the implementation of a safety zone around the plant.

247 - The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said on Tuesday (6) that the situation at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine is “unsustainable”. In a report produced after inspectors visited the nuclear plant, the agency advocated the immediate implementation of a safety zone around the plant.

In the document, the IAEA said that a nuclear accident at the plant could have serious impacts both inside and outside Ukraine.
