Putin invites Xi Jinping to visit Russia in 2023.
The two leaders are in talks to deepen bilateral relations.
Sputnik - "I have no doubt that we will find an opportunity to have a personal meeting. We look forward to seeing you, esteemed Mr. Secretary, dear friend, we look forward to seeing you next spring [in the Northern Hemisphere] for a state visit to Moscow," Putin said during the conversation with the President of China this Friday (30).
Putin emphasized that this will demonstrate to the world the strength of Sino-Russian relations on key issues, and will be the main political event of the year in bilateral relations.
