247 - Kazakhstan's president, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, stated that the country is under attack from "terrorist" groups, according to the AFP news agency.
The demonstrations, which began due to rising fuel prices, have turned into a protest for systemic change. There is violence: protesters set fire to the presidential palace and stormed a government building in Almaty.
