Latin Press - Democratic presidential hopeful Beto O'Rourke criticized the racism he believes exists today in the highest levels of power in the United States. In a meeting with citizens in Virginia, the politician pledged unity within his party to remove President Donald Trump from the White House.

"Whoever the Democratic candidate is in the 2020 election, we will do everything possible to defeat Trump," O'Rourke stated.

He also emphasized that the United States is a country of immigrants and must fight against hatred and racism everywhere, without distinction.

Mexican immigrants are not criminals, nor are Muslims inherently dangerous; Nazis and white nationalists are not good people, he opined.
