247, with Reuters - The Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), led by Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, could win the most seats in the early parliamentary elections on April 28, according to a Gesop poll published this Saturday (16).

Out of a total of 350 seats, the Socialists would win between 115 and 117 seats, followed by the conservative People's Party, which would elect between 75 and 77 deputies.

With this result, one of the two main parties would need the support of smaller parties to secure a majority that would elect a prime minister. The immediate political future of Spain is therefore uncertain, and the country could plunge back into instability in the absence of a solid support base for the incoming government.
