Former Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa shared on his Twitter account on Friday an editorial presented on YouTube by journalist Francisco Herrera Arauz, accusing President Lenin Moreno of remaining silent about the spread of the coronavirus in the country.

247 - In an editorial on YouTube, journalist Francisco Herrera Arauz denounces the disastrous situation in Ecuador, with the growing number of infected and dead and corpses scattered in the streets of Guayaquil. 

Former President Rafael Correa tweeted Herrera Arauz's words: "In Ecuador, the worst thing we had to endure was the silence... The National Government began with a pact of silence with the major media outlets." Correa then commented: "A brave editorial that reminds me of Zola's 'I Accuse'. The damage is done, but we will move forward."
