NYT: South Korea creates team to assassinate Kim Jong-un

South Korea has decided to take drastic measures to deal with Kim Jong-un, the dictator of neighboring North Korea; according to the American newspaper The New York Times, the Seoul government has created a task force of 1500 men with the mission of killing Kim Jong-un.

Infomoney - South Korea is taking drastic measures to contain threats from its northern neighbor. According to The New York Times, the Seoul government has ordered the creation of a task force to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Comprising 1,5 people, the special team was named "Decapitation Unit" and is expected to become operational by the end of the year. The agents will receive training and helicopter support to invade North Korea and launch night rockets. All in an official manner. This is because the Pyongyang regime seems unwilling to give up on its military and nuclear ambitions. North Korea, despite all international sanctions - the latest approved yesterday (11) unanimously by the United Nations Security Council - continues to conduct nuclear tests and launch missiles.

The idea to create the task force was presented by South Korean Defense Minister Song Young-moon, a day after Pyongyang conducted the largest nuclear test in history, detonating a hydrogen bomb earlier in the month, the NYT reported.

But the plan to assassinate a North Korean leader is not new in Seoul. In 1960, the government created and trained a team to invade the neighboring country and behead the then-dictator, Kim Il-sung, grandfather of Kim Jong-un, after North Korea attempted to loot the Presidential Palace in Seoul.
