Sputnik - In just a few days, billionaire Tom Steyer's initiative to take down the White House chief received the support of one million people.

A petition to impeach current US President Donald Trump has received over one million signatures in approximately ten days, reports Axios.

The "Need to Impeachment" advertising campaign, launched on October 20th, was the brainchild of billionaire activist Tom Steyer.

"Donald Trump has brought us to the brink of nuclear war by obstructing justice and receiving money from foreign governments. We must organize the removal of this dangerous president," states the document published by Steyer.

Thus, the multimillionaire believes that the reasons mentioned above are "more than enough" to initiate impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump and that "Congress has already impeached other presidents for far less."

As is his custom, Donald Trump used Twitter to express his opinion about Steyer: in his tweets, the US leader called the billionaire "unbalanced and totally crazy".
