According to Le Monde, Macron spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who said that the army operation would "worsen" if the Ukrainians did not accept his conditions.
According to Macron, during the hour-and-a-half conversation, Putin demonstrated great determination to continue his offensive, whose objective is "to take control of the entire country," the Government Palace reported.
