Lula will not attend the coronation of Charles III.

247 - "Lula has decided not to go to London for the coronation ceremony of King Charles III scheduled for May 6th. Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira will represent him," reports journalist Lauro Jardim. column in the newspaper O Globo.

“He is giving it a different importance than his predecessor did in relation to the British court: Jair Bolsonaro traveled to England for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II last September. Brazil was in the midst of an election campaign, and Bolsonaro wanted to use the event to show that he was not isolated from the world,” the journalist explains.

Lula's schedule is also full. The meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled for April 14th.
