Lula embarks on trip to China.

In China, the Brazilian president is expected to sign at least 20 bilateral agreements with President Xi Jinping.

247 - President Lula (PT) boarded the presidential plane this Tuesday (11) at the Brasília Air Base bound for China. The Brazilian leader will meet with the Chinese president, Xi Jinping.

Lula and Xi are expected to sign at least 20 bilateral agreements, including the construction of CBERS-6, the sixth in a line of satellites built in partnership between Brazil and China, which allows for the monitoring of biomes such as the Amazon rainforest. It is also expected that the two countries will finalize agreements for non-dollarized trade transactions, conducted directly in reais and yuan.

Lula is also expected to participate in the inauguration ceremony of former President Dilma Rousseff as president of the New Development Bank (NDB) of BRICS. In addition, the president will meet with business leaders and have meetings with the president of the National People's Congress, Zhao Leji, union leaders, and the Prime Minister of China, Li Qiang.

Lula also stated that he will invite Xi to visit Brazil.
