Lavrov says Western powers are ignoring peace initiatives from Brazil and South Africa for Ukraine.

Sputnik - The initiatives proposed by Brazil and South Africa to resolve the conflict in Ukraine are not even considered by the West in the meetings of the so-called Zelensky Peace Formula, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Wednesday (31).

"Recently, another meeting of the Copenhagen format of [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky's 'peace formula' was held in Davos, where some of your countries were represented. After that, I spoke with colleagues from several partner countries, including about the role of the Global South in these meetings," Lavrov said at a meeting of BRICS sherpas and deputy sherpas in Moscow.
