TASS - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday (18) that the number of partners with whom Russia is increasing cooperation shows that the country is far from being isolated.

"If the number of partners with whom we are now building cooperation by shifting the focus away from the angry and off-track West is subjected to analysis, it will show that something like Russia's isolation does not exist," he said at a meeting with university students hired by the ministry.

According to Lavrov, multipolarity processes are developing on all continents, and new centers of economic growth, financial power, and political influence are emerging.

"It is Asia and, broadly speaking, Eurasia and Africa that possess an enormous amount of natural resources yet to be developed. The overwhelming majority of Latin American countries not only continue to maintain relations with us, but are interested in deepening them," said the minister.
