Kiev prepares bloody sabotage against Ukrainians during humanitarian aid, says Russian agency.

Sputnik - Kyiv is preparing a provocation in the Kharkiv region involving the deaths of its own citizens in order to blame the Russian Armed Forces, denounced the Russian Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response.

"To accuse Russia of a war crime, the Kiev regime is preparing a bloody provocation involving the death of its own citizens. On October 24th of this year, in the city of Volchansk, Kharkiv region, during the distribution of food aid to residents, a unit of foreign mercenaries will bombard a civilian gathering site with artillery weapons," the agency reported in the early hours of Monday (24) Moscow time and still Sunday night (23) in Brasília.

According to the statement, the objective of the "terrorist action" is "to discredit the Russian Armed Forces and accuse Russia of killing civilians."

In April, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, warned that Kiev was already using "fake news" about Russian military personnel "to distract attention from its own crimes."

According to her, the Ukrainians are trying to "show the cruel treatment given by Russian military forces to the civilian population."

The most egregious case to date was what occurred in Bucha, when videos released by Ukrainian authorities and media showed hundreds of bodies lying on the ground throughout the city, some with signs of torture.

However, experts consulted by Sputnik Brazil stated that "the pieces don't fit together" in Kiev's version of the situation in the city, questioning the veracity of the facts and criticizing the biased Western coverage of the conflict.
