US Secretary of State John Kerry declared President-elect Donald Trump's behavior on Twitter inappropriate, stating that the tycoon uses the social network to communicate about international politics.

"I don't make statements about international politics on Twitter. I don't believe 140 characters are enough to address the difficult choices we have to make," Kerry responded to the ABC News host regarding Donald Trump's tweets about Russia and Taiwan.

The Secretary of State hopes that US authorities will choose another way to communicate. "But that depends on the new administration," Kerry stressed.
