According to the document, the young man still showed signs of scabies rashes on his legs and groin, as well as abrasions on his nose, chest, and hip. Reports indicate that he was treated at a medical unit in the Israeli prison twice in February 2025, but his health was already severely compromised.
The forensic examination also revealed signs of edema and congestion in the large intestine, which may have been a consequence of beatings suffered in the detention center, described as one of the most dangerous in the world, according to the United States Department of Justice.
Furthermore, a cut on Ahmad's neck was identified during the autopsy, performed by the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute, located in Tel Aviv, although the circumstances of this injury have not been fully clarified.
Defense for Children International (DCI) also revealed that, to date, Walid's body has not yet been returned to his family, who live in the occupied West Bank. Israeli authorities have not yet officially commented on the case.
