More than 200 hectares of forest were burned in this mountainous area. Two houses were hit, and a commercial building was destroyed.

Local authorities reported that most of the 5 evacuees were able to return to their homes on Sunday. But temperatures near 30°C and the wind threatened to spread the fire toward Topanga Canyon, north of Los Angeles. Only a few residents remained under evacuation orders on Sunday.
