Man claims he was hired to simulate an attack on Guaidó in Venezuela.

A man claimed he was hired by the opposition to simulate an attack against a demonstration led by Venezuelan coup leader Juan Guaidó in the city of Barquisimeto.

247 The video containing the information was released this Thursday by the government of Nicolás Maduro.

The Minister of Communication, Jorge Rodríguez, stated: "He was hired by figures close to Juan Guaidó to brandish a revolver, and the photo may have been taken to create a false positive (a fabrication)."

According to a report in the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo"Guaidó's press team released a photo showing a person in dark clothing and a helmet pointing a weapon, allegedly at the opposition leader, in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara state." 

The article further reports that "in the video shown by the minister, Medina says he received a revolver and US$200 to 'intimidate' the protesters. 'I pulled out the gun, pointed it at the people, they started screaming, running here and there, I kept walking, pointed it at Guaidó, they started taking pictures and I left,' Medina added."
