Man discovers hernia was actually uterus, fallopian tube, and ovary.

The 67-year-old Serbian man was undergoing surgery when he was diagnosed with the extremely rare persistent Müllerian duct syndrome.

Metropolises - While doctors were operating on a father of three who thought he had a hernia, they discovered that the protrusion was actually female reproductive organs. The 67-year-old man went to the hospital in Kosovo, Serbia, complaining of a swelling in his groin that had bothered him for decades and that he was born with only one testicle.

But when surgeons inspected the mass, they found a uterus, cervix, fallopian tube, and ovary, as well as the "missing" testicle. The man was diagnosed with an extremely rare condition known as persistent Müllerian duct syndrome (PDMS).
