Hamas fighters destroyed four Israeli army Merkava tanks in operations carried out in the last 24 hours in southern and central Gaza.
HispanTV - Through a statement published this Wednesday (31), the Ezedin al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), reported that its forces used Tandem launchers to destroy an Israeli Merkava tank in the Hay al-Amal area, west of the city of Jan Yunis, located in the southern Gaza Strip.
In the center of Gaza City, the Ezedin al-Qassam Brigades, in a missile operation, removed a Merkava tank and a bulldozer from service belonging to the Zionist regime.
Furthermore, Hamas fighters, using Ysin-105 missiles, managed to eliminate a Merkava tank in the west of Gaza City and another in the northwest area.
On another front, Palestinian fighters clashed with a group of Israeli soldiers on the western axis of Gaza City, and as a result, some enemy forces were killed and others were wounded, according to a Hamas statement.
In addition to destroying heavy Israeli military equipment, such as tanks and bulldozers, Hamas has killed more than 548 Zionist soldiers, including 213 who fell during the ground invasion that began on October 29th.
