The U.S. government has reportedly imposed a target of at least 75 daily arrests on agents. According to The Washington Post, the Republican wants to reach a total of 1,2 to 1,5 arrests of illegal immigrants per day.
In the first days of the Republican's new term, which began on January 20, the number of daily arrests of immigrants did not exceed 500. In the latest survey, carried out on Saturday (25), 956 people were detained. Cracking down on illegal immigration is one of Trump's campaign promises.
