Jared Kushner, son-in-law and advisor to US President Donald Trump, demanded that Time Warner, owner of CNN, fire 20% of the network's employees for its "incorrect" coverage of the 2016 US presidential election, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing anonymous sources.

According to the publication, Kushner met to discuss the topic with the representative of the business group's management, Gary Ginsberg.

In October, US President Donald Trump accused several American broadcasters of spreading false information, calling their journalists "literary charlatans."
