247 - Neuralink, Elon Musk's biotech company, has begun testing a brain chip on humans.

Neuralink's technology, which promises to treat severe brain damage such as blindness and paralysis, has been questioned about the dangers of implanting a chip in a person's brain. The billionaire, however, said that "we want to be extremely careful and certain that it will work well before putting a device in a human being."

The company has even opened a selection process for people who wish to volunteer for the experiment. To be a candidate, you must live in the United States, be over 18 years old, and have any type of brain-related condition, such as paraplegia, vision loss, quadriplegia, or deafness.
