The National Police informs the people of Nicaragua that on Monday (23), at approximately 11:30 pm, citizen Rayneia Gabrielle da Costa Lima Rocha, 29 years old, of Brazilian origin, resident doctor at the Carlos Roberto Huembes Hospital of the National Police, was traveling alone, on board the vehicle plate M 170620, through the Lomas de Monserrat sector, in the city of Managua.

A private security guard, under circumstances yet to be determined, fired a gun, causing her injuries. She was taken to the Alejandro Dávila Bolaños Military School Hospital, where she died.

The private security guard is being investigated to clarify the facts.
